World Bank Debars State-Owned Chinese Engineering and Construction Company

The World Bank has debarred for 20 months China Energy Engineering Corporation's Hunan Electric Power Design Institute, a state-owned engineering and construction company, for fraud involving a $210 million project to improve the transmission of electricity in the Lusaka area of Zambia.
