Wisconsin Pharmacy Pays $2 Million to Resolve Allegations That it Billed for Unnecessary and Unprescribed Medications

Hayat Pharmacy of Milwaukee will pay over $2 million to settle allegations by the DOJ and Wisconsin's attorney general that it fraudulently billed federal health programs for two prescription medications – topical cream iodoquinol-hydrocortisone-aloe and multivitamin Azesco – which were not medically necessary and/or dispensed without a prescription.
