DoD Telling Contractors to Secure Their Systems or Get Off Their Network

Kelly Fletcher—principal deputy CIO at the Defense Department until her recent move to the State Department—explained at the INSA/AFCEA National Security Summit that DoD has the authority to allow contractors and outside agencies to have access to parts of their network, and is increasingly using that authority to deny access, for those who fail to properly secure their own systems.
