VA Systems Have Thousands of Unaddressed Security Risks

According to the results of an independent audit, the Department of Veterans Affairs has made progress developing policies and procedures to comply with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act, but still faces challenges implementing a continuous monitoring and risk management program that meets FISMA requirements.
