USAID OIG Plans Audit of Disposition of Assets of Terminated USAID Awards
USAID’s Inspector General auditors will be verifying the status of physical assets purchased under USAID awards at a time when implementers and USAID have limited presence in the countries where those assets are located. The global audit will sample awards and examine assets including real property, vehicles, equipment, and stored inventory such as food and medicine. Expect the results to be fodder for political assertions on both sides of the aisle.
