While today marks USAID’s transition of its foreign assistance programs to the Department of State, the independent oversight work carried out by the USAID Office of Inspector General remains active and ongoing. Consistent with their existing award terms, implementers performing USAID-funded awards are still obligated to report allegations of misconduct – to include fraud, trafficking, diversion, and sexual exploitation & abuse -through the USAID OIG Hotline.
