POLITICO – The Trump administration, seemingly overnight, has created a new way for the government to cash in on its tech industry: The semiconductor giants Nvidia and AMD have agreed to give Washington a 15 percent cut of their revenues from AI chip sales to China, in exchange for permission to resume those sales after they had been curbed in April.
