Should DOE’s Cyber Office Be Headed by Career Official or Political Appointee?

Jason Miller notes the number of federal agencies which have political appointees (sometimes confirmed by the Senate) who are assigned to focus on cybersecurity, with the notable exception of the Department of Energy, whose Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response (CESER) is led by a career official instead.
