Senator Proposes $25 Billion for NDAA to Fast-Track Navy Shipyard Upgrades

Roger Wicker (R-MS) has submitted his Shipyard Act of 2021 as an amendment to the 2022 NDAA, to add $21 billion for revitalizing the Navy's four public shipyards and another $4 billion for private shipyards, attracting co-sponsors from other shipbuilding states.
