Senate Lags on Protecting Own Systems, Senator Says

Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) says the Senate is “far behind when it comes to implementing basic cybersecurity practices.” In a letter to the Senate Rules Committee, Wyden called for improved cybersecurity for all Senate IT systems through the use of two-factor authentication, which adds a second layer of identity verification in addition to passwords.
