SEC’s Small Biz Office Wants Capital-Raising Rules Eased

A U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission office focused on capital-raising needs of small businesses wants regulators to ease certain rules for private and public companies out of concern that costs and other barriers are holding back small businesses, especially impacting rural regions and women and minority-founded enterprises.
