Review of Prices Proposed by TransDigm and Affiliated Companies

On June 14, Kim Herrington, acting principal director of Defense Pricing and Contracting, issued a memorandum directing contracting officers to require TransDigm and its subsidiaries to submit uncertified cost or pricing data to support their proposed prices, unless the prices agree upon are based on adequate price competition or are set by law or regulation.
