Proposed Rule Would Ban Use of Salary History Data by Federal Contractors and Require Disclosure or Salary Ranges in Job Postings

K&L Gates – The FAR Council issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Making that would prohibit federal contractors and subcontractors from seeking and considering information about applicants’ compensation history when hiring or setting pay for individuals working on or in connection with a government contract.
