Pentagon Developing “Targeted” Zero Trust Strategy

DoD deputy CISO David McKeown announced that the department has a forthcoming new zero-trust strategy that will outline 90 capabilities needed to bring the department to what they call “targeted zero trust.” An additional 62 capabilities are defined to establish a “more advanced zero trust” for use on national security systems or other “very, very important” systems.
