OPM and OMB Leaders Address Unfair Competition Between Agencies for Cyber Talent

Office of Personnel Management director Kiran Ahuja told members of Congress she wants to work with lawmakers on a federal cyber workforce strategy that “puts agencies on equal footing in competing for cyber talent.” Ahuja cited the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity Talent Management System as an example of how one agency is able to offer better pay and terms than others, putting those at a disadvantage.
