ONC Leader: Privacy, Security Remain Top Priorities

Donald Rucker, head of the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, says his office's decision to phase out its chief privacy officer position will not lessen its focus on data security and privacy, especially in the area of electronic health record interoperability.
