Oklahoma City Hospital and Co-Defendants Will Pay $72.3 Million To Settle Stark Law Violations

Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic and Multi-Specialty Surgery, its part-owner and management company, and physician group Southwest Orthopaedic Specialists and two of its physicians, will pay $72.3 million to resolve allegations of improper relationships between the hospital and the physicians, resulting in false claims to the Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE.
