New York Regulator Faults Twitter for Lax Security Measures Prior to Big Account Breach

New York’s Department of Financial Services reports that a July incident in which more than 100 celebrity Twitter accounts were hacked to promote a cryptocurrency, was due to Twitter not heightening security measures for telework during the coronavirus pandemic.
