New TikTok Ban Doesn’t Reach All Contractor IT or Employees’ Personal Devices

Holland & Knight – All federal contracts and solicitations are required to include the FAR clause, FAR 52.204-27, which bans TikTok on contractor devices. Some commentators are recommending a broad interpretation and approach to that clause to minimize disputes with contracting officers. While that is one approach to compliance, it is not the only approach.
