New Jersey Senior Care Company Settles Allegations of False Claims for Bad Debt

ABC1857 LLC, a New Jersey senior care company previously known as CareOne Management LLC, will pay about $715,000 to resolve allegations from a whistleblower that it submitted false claims to Medicare, for reimbursement of “bad debt” consisting of deductibles and copayments which it was unable to collect from patients.
