Representative Pete Aguilar (D-CA) has introduced an amendment to the FY2018 defense authorization act that would create a Department of Defense Cyber Workforce Development Pilot Program, which would provide the department with funds for recruiting, retaining, professionalizing, and retaining cyber personnel.
