Latest Draft of China E-Commerce Law Adds Cybersecurity Mandate, Stronger IP Protection

China's proposed e-commerce law has dropped an earlier draft's definitions of certain personal information and how businesses would have to handle it, and instead includes a provision requiring them to comply with the country's cybersecurity law, which took effect earlier this year.
