Judge Ordered Restitution in FCPA Bribery Case

Mike Koehler writes about “a rare restitution order issued in an individual FCPA enforcement requiring the defendant to pay $500,000 to a ‘victim’.” In this case, the money was loaned at the request of defendant Sang Woo to enable a co-conspirator to pay a bribe to a foreign official without it being recognized as such.
