Illinois Math Professor Charged with Fraud Over Chinese Grant

A federal grand jury has indicted mathematics professor and researcher Mingqing Xiao of the Southern Illinois University – Carbondale for fraudulently obtaining over $150,000 in federal grant money from the National Science Foundation by concealing support he was receiving from the Chinese government and a Chinese university.
