IG: Agriculture Employees, Contractors Aren’t Being Disciplined for Improper Use of Agency Networks

The Department of Agriculture inspector general reports that the agency’s security systems have gotten better at detecting “improper” use of USDA networks, but fractured policies mean there is little accountability for employees using the agency network for peer-to-peer file-sharing, downloading illegal or copyright-protected material, or accessing sexually explicit material.
