Huntington Ingalls Sued By EEOC For Disability Discrimination

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing shipbuilder Huntingon Ingalls under the Americans With Disabilities Act, alleging the company refused to hire an experienced pipefitter after discovering his hearing impairment. The lawsuit also alleges that the company failed to provide the pipefitter with a reasonable accommodation during the hiring process.
