House Cyber Leader Wants to Give Equifax the Kaspersky Treatment

The Department of Homeland Security used its executive authority to issue "binding operational directives" on cybersecurity to ban products from Kaspersky Lab from federal systems, and Representative John Ratcliffe (R-TX) wants DHS to exercise that same power to cancel a $7 million IRS contract with Equifax to assist with taxpayer identity management.
