Head of DHS Implies that Existing Voluntary Measures are “On the Right Path” for Securing Infrastructure

During a hearing on worldwide threats to the U.S., Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told lawmakers that the federal government should continue to rely on critical infrastructure owners voluntarily taking the necessary measures to protect their operations from cyberattacks.
