Government Contracts Associate – Husch Blackwell

Husch Blackwell, a full service law firm, has an immediate opening in its Washington, D.C. office for a Government Contracts Associate with two to five years of experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of federal government contracts, including contract compliance / administration counseling, litigating bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, preparing and litigating CDA claims before agency boards of contract appeals. Experience with False Claims Act investigations and litigation is helpful, but not required. Prior law firm experience preferred.

The candidate must have an excellent academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, exceptional writing skills, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

The Candidate must be admitted to practice in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
