Generic Pharmaceutical Companies Settle Price-Fixing Allegations

Taro Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., Sandoz Inc., and Apotex Corporation – manufacturers of generic pharmaceuticals – have agreed to pay a total of nearly $450 million to settle allegations of price fixing, which resulted in higher prices for federal health programs and their beneficiaries.
