GE Unit Pays $9.4M To End Probe Of Military Parts Inspections

Law 360 – General Electric Co.'s aerospace business will pay $9.4 million to settle civil claims that it improperly inspected military aircraft engines it sold to the Pentagon and delivered some of the propulsion units with "unallowable metal fragments" inside, according to a deal announced Monday.
