FTC Data Security Enforcement ‘Repugnant,’ LabMD Says

In its latest filing challenging the Federal Trade Commission’s cybersecurity enforcement action, shuttered medical testing company LabMD called FTC’s actions “repugnant to comprehensive healthcare regulation.” LabMD also challenged FTC’s interpretation of its enforcement authority as unreasonable and “directly at odds” with the congressional intent of the FTC Act.
