Final Rule Amends Buy American Act Requirements

Peckar & Abramson – On March 7, 2022, the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration issued a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement Executive Order 14005, Ensuring the Future is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers. The final rule amends the FAR to include: (1) a near-term increase to the domestic content threshold; and (2) a fallback threshold for special circumstances.
