FCC Proposes 72-Hour Breach Reporting for Emergency Alert Media

The FCC has issue a proposed rule that would require broadcasters and cable providers that participate in the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts to report data breaches that affect certain equipment within 72 hours.
