Experts Argue Against Spinning Off CISA from DHS

Former CISA director Chris Krebs has suggested that the agency be moved out of the Department of Homeland Security—where it is sometimes lost in the shuffle of unrelated issues such as immigration—enabling it to serve more clearly as “the front door” for the private sector to work with the federal government on cyber matters.
