Ericsson Account Manager Charged in $2.1 Million Djibouti Bribery Case
Afework Bereket, a dual citizen of Ethiopia and Sweden, and a former employee of Swedish telecom company Ericsson, has been charged with paying approximately $2.1 million in bribes to officials in the Republic of Djibouti, and conspiring to launder funds in the scheme.
