EINSTEIN and TIC Never Got Along, and TIC 3.0 Makes Their Break-Up Official

Industry experts agree that the release of the draft Trusted Internet Connections 3.0 implementation guidance, means the end is near for EINSTEIN, the 16-year-old intrusion detection and prevention program.  “TIC 3.0 isn’t here to kill EINSTEIN, but decouple it from TIC," remarked Stephen Kovac, vice president of global government and corporate compliance at Zscaler.
