DOT Withdraws Proposed Rule on Geographic Hiring Preferences
The Department of Transportation has withdrawn a March 2o15 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would have amended DOT's regulations to permit recipients and subrecipients of certain DOT funds to impose geographic-based hiring preferences whenever not otherwise prohibited by federal law.
