DoD Studying Small Businesses’ Ability to Assess Their Own Cybersecurity

The Department of Defense will review defense contractors' self-assessed security plans against DoD requirements, to ensure these self-assessments measure up. The Defense Contract Management Agency's Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC)—which has mainly assessed large and medium companies—will start these reviews in the coming months.
