The $1.2 trillion infrastructure package President Biden signed into law includes cybersecurity grants for state and local governments, which CISA director Brandon Wales says will “be a game changer in dramatically enhancing the security of our communities throughout the country.” FEMA will have $1 billion to distribute over four years staring in 2022, with CISA in an advisory capacity.
