Dallas Medical Center Pays $3.2 Million HIPPA Fine
The Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights announced that Children’s Medical Center of Dallas will pay a civil financial penalty of $3.2 million to resolve an administrative action based on its impermissible disclosure of unsecured electronic protected health information and non-compliance over many years with multiple standards of the HIPAA Security Rule.
