Court Declines to Dismiss Former USAID Employees’ and Contractors’ Suit Against DOGE

Several months ago, terminated USAID employees and contractors brought a class action suit against Elon Musk, DOGE, and the State Department, alleging that their actions in dismantling USAID violated the Constitution. The government moved to dismiss the case, alleging that the federal district court lacked jurisdiction and that the plaintiffs had failed to state a claim. The district has, for the most part, denied the motion to dismiss. The case will now move on to discovery.
