Civilian Board of Contract Appeals Releases Its Annual Report

The Civilian Board of Contract Appeals has released its 2025 annual report. The report states that the Board’s caseload grew in 2025 with 222 new Contract Dispute Act appeals, up from 168 in 2024. The report further notes that the Board is examining the use of artificial intelligence by parties, and that this new technology is ripe for abuse. The report clarifies that if using AI, parties retain full responsibility for the accuracy of all submissions to the Board.
