Following the release of the Guidelines for Cybersecurity Standards Practices – Security Certification Specifications for Cross-Border Processing of Personal Information on June 24, and the Standard Contract for Cross-border Transfer of Personal Information and its accompanying provisions on June 30, the Cyberspace Administration of China formally issued the Measures for the Security Assessment of Data Cross-border Transfer at long last on July 7.
