Carnival Cruise Line Fined as Insurance Company under NY Cyber Breach Regulations
The New York State Department of Financial Services has entered into a $5 million settlement with Carnival, the world’s largest cruise-ship operator, for violations of the Cybersecurity Regulation in connection with four cybersecurity events between 2019 and 2021, including two ransomware events.
