During a hearing of the Senate Small Business Committee on strengthening small firm cyber defenses, Senator Ranking Member Ben Cardin (D-MD) discussed the growing threat of cyberattacks on America’s 30 million small businesses. According to a 2018 report, 58 percent of data breach victims globally are small businesses.
