Brave Accuses Google of Infringing the “Purpose Limitation” Principle of GDPR

Privacy-focused web browser Brave has filed an official complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission and other EU agencies, accusing Google of infringing the "purpose limitation" principle of the GDPR, because its privacy policy "does not transparently and explicitly specify the purposes for which the data is collected and processed" in violation of Article 5(1)b.
