Bioventus Settles for $3.6 Million over Improper Medical Necessity Claims

Bioventus, LLC, a global medical technology company, has agreed to pay over $3.6 million to resolve allegations that it submitted improperly completed certificates of medical necessity for medically unnecessary devices from 2012 through 2018.
