Bangladesh’s New Government to Receive $202 Million in Additional Aid

The State Department and USAID have quickly engaged Bangladesh’s interim PM, Mohammed Yunus, the Nobel Laureate, in his efforts to restore democracy. USAID will provide $202 million in additional aid to “promote good governance, social, human and economic opportunity and resilience.” USAID has already provided $425 million of a pledged $954 million for 2021-2026.
