Army Pleads for Industry to Halt Filing Contract Award Protests on ‘Autopilot’

Army officials called on industry to stop automatically filing protests of department contract awards, saying that the procurement process is slowed both by the protest process and the additional work needed before solicitations are issued to ensure awards are protest-proof.
